Basic First Health Care To Patients, Immunisation And Injection Techniques For Pharmacists

Pharmacists are very much accessible, as they are well placed within communities as an important point of contact with the health care system. Pharmacists are well trained professionals, and offer various services to the public, hence playing a pivotal role in the delivery of primary health care services. Pharmacists can also promote public health through immunizations and increase immunization coverage. Pharmacists act ahead and proactive as educators, facilitators and vaccinators. It is essential for pharmacists to be trained as basic first health care providers as well as vaccinators and be skilled in practical immunization and injection techniques.
